On his maiden voyage on the "Welcome to Jamrock" Cruise, Kemar “Ding Dong” Ottey, the Magnum's crowned Dancehall King of Dance, demonstrated that his energy and music is loved by Jamaicans at home and abroad. The Fling singer along with the Ravers held nothing back as they took the music-loving crowd to frenzied fun and dance.
The Magnum Ambassador catalogued his performance on Instagram (IG). In a series of videos posted on IG, a throng of party goers can be seen dancing and moving in sync to the left and right, rocking the boat at Ding Dong's instructions.
Ding Dong tells Cruise owner Junior Gong “Now you know what I do when I juggle, Big up yuhself." He explained his motivation which has led to his current success and inclusion on the well sought-after Cruise.
The annual Welcome to Jamrock Cruise departed Fort Lauderdale Monday evening, docked in Ocho Rios on Wednesday morning, then on to Falmouth on Thursday with the final leg back to Fort Lauderdale. The voyage saw daily events on the main deck featuring musical greats including Buju Banton, Mighty Diamonds, Sister Nancy, Pinchers and much more. The events also featured young stars; Christopher Martin, Popcaan, Skip Marley, and Koffee; a great mixture of Reggae and Dancehall acts from Jamaica.
In response to Ding Dong's post, the official @welcometojamrockreggecruise IG account endorsed the performance noting “THE SHIP WAS ROCKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
