Kingston, Jamaica:  Dancehall fans visiting Reggae Sumfest Festival Night 1 were treated to authentic music from the genre, courtesy of the much loved Agent Sasco.

Agent Sasco, who performed for an exhilarating 30 minute set, expressed his joy for being able to perform at the festival for another year.

The Banks of the Hope artiste paused his European Summer tour, which began early July, to perform at the festival and is expected to continue with performances across the continent for the remainder of summer 2019.

“When we leave Jamaica, we head to locations in Austria and Sweden. The first leg of the tour was awesome, and Reggae Sumfest was just as amazing.  I’m sure the next leg of the tour will be perfect,” Agent Sasco shared.

Admitting he spends the majority of the year travelling, Sasco says he will always remain grounded as it is a part of his character.

“Travel versus no travel, music versus no music, staying grounded and remaining humble is something that I find to be automatic; I do not see any option but to be grounded,” the Winning Right Now artiste explained.

He shares that while there continues to be friction in the various sectors of music, his goal is to remain focus and provide a high standard for his fans worldwide.

“How I look at life, regardless of what’s happening, we just give thanks and guh through,” Agent Sasco said.

The artiste who has been a mainstay in mainstream Jamaican music for decades, shared his secret to currency. He says he achieves this by not being concerned with the idea of currency.

“I do not care about remaining current, I just do the music that I love and in turn, I am living with the result,” he shared.

Agent Sasco resumes his European summer tour with the Reggae Geel Music Festival, slated for Friday August 2, 2019 in Geel, Belgium.
