Magnum Xplosion Reggae Beach Party was a combination of immense talent, lyrical mastery and amazing energy as veteran members of the Dancehall fraternity shared the stage in a display of unity and pure artistry. Headlined by Busy Signal and Sizzla Kalongi patrons were treated to the musical stylings of Spragga Benz, Wayne Wonder, Agent Sasco and spectacular local acts in what can only be described as a stroke of good luck.

Following entertaining sets from Jamaica’s Jazzy T and King Ghetto Sound System, Bajan Soca standout Marzville moved in to represent the home set. In his 30 min performance the artiste had waistlines pelting as he delivered, ‘give it to ya’, ‘sweetness’, ‘Bang Bim’ and ‘wuk’. Earning chants from the home crowd, Marzville soon made way for Busy Signal.

Opening with his early hit “step out” the artiste sprung to action, changing the shows atmosphere by bringing the first insertion of hardcore Dancehall. The definition of versatility, Busy soon exchanged fast paced lyrics for heavy hitting baselines and sweet melodies as he delivered ‘night shift’ and ‘come over’. His 2018 project  ‘Stay so’ proved the showstopper for Busy Signal as the audience demanded pull up after pull up.

Closing the show, Dada, Sizzla Kalongi charged the stage to welcome screams and applause bringing a fiery performance laced with consecutive hits. The almost deafening response to ‘cant keep a good man down’ authenticated Sizzla as a class act. Just when audience members expected an end to the performances, Spragga Benz, Wayne Wonder and Agent Sasco emerged on stage. The audience erupted as each artiste touched the microphone to popular dancehall rhythms of the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Lead by Sizzla each time, every artiste added their personal rendition some of the rhythms most popular hits.

“ Magical, the only suitable description of Magnum Xplosion’s Reggae Beach Party. From the artiste selection to the venue set up to our enticing Magnum Deals and stunning Magnum Ladies, we pulled out all the stops to ensure the best possible experience and all the hard work has paid off,” explained Kamal Powell, Brand Marketing Manager for the Region.

With two stops, left on its agenda this year, the brand now turns it’s attention to St. Lucia on June 1st. Slated for Pigeon Island National Landmark, Magnum Xplosion St. Lucia will prove a treat for Dancehall lovers offering the best mixture of the genre; hardcore, dance hits and female lyrics with Ding Dong, Spice and Sizzla.
